Asset Types Maintenance provides a flexible means to exercise additional control over special elements of project expenditure including:

Fixed Assets (with calculation of depreciation)
Work-in-progress
Stocks

Reconcile Assets to Contracts

Reconcile Assets to Contracts operates in conjunction with Asset Type Maintenance (above) & the Asset Register (below).

Postings to all ledgers are made automatically. However, postings may optionally be assigned (adopted) to specific contract for more detailed control.

All Fixed Asset type postings should be adopted to allow reconciliation against the Asset Register (below).

Asset Register

The Asset Register records information to identify, locate & manage each Fixed Asset & assists in the eventual capitalisation of work-in-progress.

The register also contains financial information about acquisitions, disposals & depreciation & supports the values recorded in the primary financial records.
